We are getting ready for our first event! That's right!! Our dining room, meeting rooms, and bathrooms are nearly done!
Yes I'm using a lot of exclamation points!!
This has been a long time coming and a lot of hard work.
The coffee bar and kitchen still need to be built. I met with a new friend and very talented and experienced barista. She helped me make a rough draft for a menu and a layout for the coffee bar. We hope to get started on that very soon. We already have another event planned for November!!
Our family enjoyed our first meal in the dining room to celebrate. We still need furniture, mostly chairs. And artwork. A lot of artwork.
A lot of you have been asking how you can help. We are having a fundraiser October 28! It's a great time of year to get pictures taken. The fall colors are gorgeous. It's a good time to have pictures ready for the holiday season as well.
We also created a wish list in Amazon. This is just a start to help us open our doors and begin serving delicious coffee and pastries to our community.
